I qualified as a Dental Nurse in the UK I’m 1992, the worked for the Cambridge Dental Access Centre and gained my diploma in dental sedation.

After being in the UK with my NZ husband we came to NZ in 2021, I love meeting people and being with my family. My interests are motorbikes, F1, and Rugby.

I love being in NZ it’s a wonderful place to bring up our children.

I was born in Botswana, I studied dentistry in the US and have now been practising dentistry for 20 years.

I moved to New Zealand in 2006 after working in Botswana for 8 years followed by a short time practicing in Australia. I enjoy and practice all areas of dentistry and I'm passionate about saving teeth. I get great pleasure from getting my patients out of pain and putting the smiles back on their faces.

Hi. I am Shweta. I graduated as a dentist in India in 2009, and after working for a year in India I moved to Australia. I worked as a dental assistant (DA) and dental trainer for 5 years in Perth. In 2016 I moved to New Zealand and worked with Team Dental as a Dental Assistant. In 2018 I moved to Dunedin to further my career in dentistry. Meanwhile, I passed my dental licensing exam in Melbourne (2018). I completed a Master’s course, endorsed in Aesthetic dentistry from the University of Otago.

I enjoy practising all aspects of general dentistry, especially the “smile design”.

Michele Sutin

DENTAL HYGIENIST

Michele Sutin is an American trained hygienist and received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Middlesex College in 2002. During her career she has worked in many different settings including private practice, public health, and hospitals.

Michele enjoys educating patients. Her goal is to provide comprehensive treatment. She finds it rewarding to make a difference in her patients oral health.

Outside of dental hygiene, she is passionate about her family, animals, baking, and human rights. She loves Christchurch and is grateful to be working with such talented and caring colleagues that provide quality care at Team Dental.
